We are very excited to partner with the Susan G Komen Foundation for this "PINK" event!    We have many exciting events in the works for this day and hope that you and your teams will join us as we CHEER FOR A CURE!

The Greater Midwest Cheer Expo will donate a portion of the registration and we are counting on you and your teams to help raise more!  Get creative!  Set up a penny jar at your gym or at the football fields!  Collect everyone's spare change as they come to practice etc!  Hold a car wash!  Set up a special concessions!  Let the kids know that they can make a difference!  We think that your cheerleaders are special and that they have the power to make a difference and we want them to know that! 

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Greater Cincinnati Affiliate is looking for approximately 150 cheerleaders to help add spirit to its I AM THE CURE.® program at the September 14, 2008 Race for the Cure in Mason, Ohio.  The I AM THE CURE.® program is designed to boost the educational outreach of the Komen Race for the Cure® series by motivating Race participants to take an active role in their own breast health. I AM THE CURE.® is a rallying cry that is emotional, memorable, and motivational. It speaks to the importance of early detection, and provides simple, action-oriented messages that Race participants can put into action.   Cheerleaders will be taught chants, and asked to perform them at various locations during the Race event.  Coaches interested in participating should contact Laura Rusche, Fund Development & Marketing Director at  laura.rusche@gmail.com or 513-671-9100 and let them know you found it from Cheer Expo!
